- The Swiss invalid insurance scheme (Invalidenversicherung = IV) pays the school a monthly rental fee of CHF 350.- for guide dogs on active service and covers the cost of introducing the dog at the home of the recipient.
- Other funds come from the sale of promotional items from our shop.
- The school receives no state subsidies of any kind.
Costs
- The total costs for 1 guide dog are approx. CHF 65'000.00. But the dog and all the services offered are free of charge to the blind and the visually impaired.
- The costs are being covered by the Swiss invalid insurance and – thanks to your generous donations – by our Foundation.
